Sports betting and gambling are activities where individuals place bets or wagers on the outcome of sporting events or games of chance, with the hope of winning money. In sports betting, individuals bet on the outcome of a specific sports event, such as the winner of a game or the total number of points scored. Gambling, on the other hand, encompasses a wider range of activities, including casino games, lotteries, and other games of chance where individuals bet money on the possibility of a particular outcome. Both sports betting and gambling involve an element of risk and chance, and can be both entertaining and potentially lucrative for participants. **

Gambling halls and betting shops are not being closed because they are often considered essential businesses that contribute to the economy through tax revenue and job creation. Additionally, some argue that individuals have the right to make their own choices about gambling, and that closing these establishments could lead to an increase in illegal gambling activities. However, it is important for these businesses to adhere to strict health and safety guidelines to protect both employees and customers during the ongoing pandemic. **

One way to stop gambling addiction is to seek professional help through therapy or support groups. It is also important to identify triggers that lead to gambling and find healthier ways to cope with stress or boredom. Avoiding the casino altogether can be achieved by setting strict boundaries, such as self-excluding from casinos or blocking online gambling sites. Developing new hobbies and activities that do not involve gambling can also help in avoiding the temptation to gamble. **
